Buddy Halligan

Buddy Halligan is Carol Robbins’ secret weapon in the creation of all five of her albums. Buddy was both producer and sound engineer, directing recording sessions and everything else from mixing to mastering.

Born in Brooklyn, raised in LA, Buddy Halligan is Chief Audio Engineer of Technical Operations at Keywords Studios Los Angeles – their “Digital Fireman.” His favorite part of this job is keeping up with the constantly changing technology, seeking new ways to improve workflows and product quality on behalf of Keywords’ clients.

Previously, he was the Chief Audio Engineer at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and an adjunct professor.

Prior to USC, he was the Senior Audio Engineer at Bell Sound Studios in Hollywood where he recorded, edited and mixed numerous national commercials, TV shows and film.

Buddy designed, built, and expanded four additional facilities during his time at Bell Sound and USC.

The constant evolvement in the entertainment industry’s technology and workflows keeps him engaged and excited. His passion for audio and music has led him to work with some of the greats; including Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Barry White, Jack Lemmon and Elizabeth Taylor. When he’s not working, he loves to travel, cook, and explore new places.
